The HTC Hero Black caters for every whim. With a balance and stylish outer casing which encompasses a huge variety of functions, the phone delivers performance where it matters. The display screen is large and colourful and allows simple and uncluttered access to the numerous features. The phone is a PDA style phone which employs a Qualcomm MSM 7200A 528 MHz processor and the Android operating system as its data processing bundle. Both of these are known as reliable and effective in processing data quickly and efficiently. The 3.2 inch TFT capacitive Touch Screen is large and an excellent element of the HTC Hero White . It offers excellent colour reproduction by displaying 65,000 colours at a size of 320 x 480 pixels. Accessing the functionality is simple and uses a multi-touch input facility. The addition of a trackball offers another way of moving around the features. For those who prefer to use handwriting for data entry, the phone includes the ability to recognise handwriting. An accelerometer sensor ensures images are displayed at their optimum aspect. To compliment the phones other features, it comes with a 5 mega pixel camera with a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. Autofocus is included which helps to ensure image sharpness. The quality of the camera is excellent and due to its high resolution, takes stunning photography. The camera doubles up as a video recording device to offer an alternative to still image capture. The HSDPA and Wi-Fi connections provide internet access through its own connection and nationally available hot spots. With speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps surfing the web is enjoyable and fast. GPRS, EDGE, Blue tooth and miniUSB are also included to give the opportunity for additional tasks to be performed such as file sharing and synchronisation. The white HTC Hero comes with an MP3 player which will play the majority of file formats including MP3, AC+ and WAV. This ensures that most downloaded music files can be played and enjoyed whilst on the move. Satellite navigation is offered with the integrated GPS with A-GPS support feature. The HTC Hero Black is a compact and well designed mobile phone. Measuring only 112mm x 56.2mm wide and only 14.4 mm thick it fits comfortably into a pocket.
